Betsy Chutchian – Making your own Quilt Antique.

Great program provided us by Betsy Chutchian of Grand Prarie. Betsy talked to us about finding fabrics that reflect the period of the pattern. And she spent a lot of time talking about the quilt group they have where members use one pattern and make blocks for exchange. Most of the quilts she shared with her were products of that group and their block exchanges.

Betsy has a couple of pattern Books out – so look for those. Most of these quilts came from her first book (no longer in print). Though I did find all of her books available on Amazon! Betsy was a shop owner, a instructor, a leader of one heck of a block exchange group and a designer for Moda!

This may be my new go to slideshow. There is a slider (gray) on the bottom of pics – to move through the photos. If you click on one – it will give you full screen. If you want to see all in full screen – you can click on one – get full screen and then use the arrows that will appear on the right and left side of the photo. Have fun!
