Well, nothing has slowed down for me, I’m sorry to say. It’s back to Michigan for me. I have added some photos that Joanne was able to get for us – so thank you Joanne! I will be missing meetings again in July – but have some hope for July. For this month’s Show & Tell click here

At least that’s how it seemed to us. Great meeting where we stuffed pillows for cancer patients undergoing chemo. And then we had a wonderful April Charity Bee at Joanne’s.
Yes – this is a picture of our April meeting devolving into a pillow fight!! Really, all in fun as Guild President – Millie and Charity Bee Chair make a feeble effort to bag the nights successful stuffing of pillows supporting cancer victims.

Did a lot here. If you didn’t go to the front page – you might want to – I’ve added some spring Texas color! Put a picture & short story on Claudette Booker’s award winning quilt. I updated the officers (FINALLY) on the “About AHQG” page. And of course, I’ve added the March Show & Tell Photos and the March Program presented by Shannon Brinkley.
Don’t seem to be sending out update notices via email. So, let’s give it another try. Sorry about missing the February meeting. Just no way to get up to Tennessee and then back in time. Regardless – Joanne took charge of one of my cameras and was able to come away with some photos to share. Our Show & Tell for February looks really impressive – go here to see for yourself.
