Joann and I had the pleasure of delivering quilts for the Krier House. They’re always excited for our donations – it enriches the kids lives so much. Thanks to all who have helped making these donations possible.

In response to a need at the Cyndi Krier Center, we were able to provide some much needed warmth and love. Lots of color and lots of work went into these quilts which are much appreciated by the kids. Thanks to all for your generosity.
We had a wonderful meeting in January, but the photographer went to sleep, so we’ll be bring you the meeting photos a little late. For photos of Michele Markey’s quilt/painting was very interesting and colorful! Catch the photos here: https://www.alamoheritageqg.org/january-2025-guest-speaker-michelle-markey/
Ok – the photographer woke up, went to sleep watching the Ground Hog? Show & Tell was spectacular as usual. Look closely and you might see some guy who doesn’t show that often – surprise! https://www.alamoheritageqg.org/show-tell/january-25-show-tell/
Again, we had a great year this year. We gave the hospital 112 quilts, S.L.E.W. a cancer wellness center, 12 of our larger quilts, and the hospital a total of 221 Christmas pillowcases. I called Bridget to tell her we had the quilts and pillowcases ready, and she was at my door 2 days later. SOOOOOOO appreciated. She said the nurses asked her if she would get them again this year.
Donated Items:
Quilts: 199
Cancer Pillows: 275
Seatbelt Port Pillows: 46
Joanne Krepps, Charity Chair
Lots of work is being done on Charity quilt contributions. Many were shown at our September Meeting.
Charity Quilts and Show & Tell are posted together.

So very sorry to be as bad as I am (and I’m afraid that may not change soon) – but I’ve finally caught up with all Newsletters posted, the May and June Guild Meetings and the June Show & Tell. Also have some candid snaps of all of us enjoying the last meeting.
We had a great meeting with Fran Morgan of Fabric Cafe You Tube Channel. Their 3-yard quilt ideas and designs make for an interesting program. We had our usual member Show & Tell, with a meeting of door prizes and general discussion around possible location for future meetings. Enjoy the photos.
Obviously, we’ve not kept this page updated. When I get that extra 10 hours in my life maybe I’ll try to put some ‘old updates’ in here. It’s a nice way to look at a month as a whole. This month we had a Lucky Draw (Chinese Auction) and said goodbye to Tom & Dave (they’re now consider Yankees!). We also had a pretty good monthly Show & Tell. You see the photos from the meeting and show & tell HERE. Joanne and I visited the Krier House with another donation. You see that HERE
Great work to all who contributed! The donation was well received and appreciated.
