NEXT MEETING: August 11, 2026
POT LUCK SUPPER – Our Annual Beat the Heat Potluck supper. Bring your favorite summer dish to share, and enjoy the time to sit and visit with old friends and new members.

Additionally, Tony from Circle H Sharpeners will be in the parking lot with his trailer to sharpen your scissors and knives for a small fee. He can even sharpen gardening tools, as long as there is a way to separate the blades. Just don’t forget to pick them up on your way home; otherwise, a trip to Boerne will be in your future.

Guest Speaker: FiberWorx Fabrics & Trunk Show
This meeting will feature Fiberworx Fabric Studio, from McQueeney. They will give us an overview of the happenings at the shop, including new fabrics, patterns, classes, Blocks of the Month, etc.

October 13, 2026
Guild Birthday celebration!
Remember to bring your handmade gift to exchange. It can be anything you made by hand. Many members have other fabulous hobbies and make beautiful items, and this will be a chance to show them off.

This meeting will also feature an old-fashioned “Bed Turning”.  Members are encouraged to bring the vintage quilts they’ve inherited or found in antique shops. The quilts will be placed one on top of the other, and as each quilt is uncovered, the owner can tell a brief history of how it was obtained. For you avid collectors, please limit yourselves to bringing no more than 3 quilts, so we have time for everyone.

We are welcoming Teresa Wong, who presented to us in 2025, back to the guild. A dynamic speaker who will present Kawaii Quilting, the subject of her latest book.
