OK, it really was a shame that our guest speaker was unable to attend our May meeting. So what’s a Guild to do? Well, when you’re the Alamo Heritage Quilt Guild – you turn to one of your many talented quilters. In this instance, we were extremely lucky that our Program Chair – Kathy Smith, was able to step in. Kathy has been honing her skills combining quilting and embroidery for some years now. So it was both a learning experience for those in attendance, as well as a completely enthralling display of that genre of quilting. Thanks Kathy – we are so lucky to you among our extraordinarly gifted members!
